Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Liviu Dragnea says he had a conversation on Monday with the Chairman of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE), Calin Popescu-Tariceanu who asked him "to stand his ground."
"I talked this morning with Mr. Tariceanu (...) and he asked me, he told me to stand my ground and continue our coalition," Dragnea stated.
Asked whether the functioning of the governing coalition is being affected in any way, Dragnea replied: "I believe it is not affected. I am."
The Chairman of PSD, Liviu Dragnea stated on Monday, in reference to the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) case, that he categorically rejects the allegations.
I went to DNA today to get hold of my third case. I cannot go into many details (...) I categorically dismiss all allegations. What I have been saying for years - that I have no financial, economic ties to that company - I stand by it," Dragnea affirmed.AGERPRES .
