Prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest District 1 Court on Wednesday conducted searches in the homes of seven persons involved in the violent clashes of August 10.
"The prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the District 1 Court are conducting searches in a criminal case having to do with acts of physical and moral violence committed against the persons injured, gendarmes who were on duty on August 10/11 in the Victoriei Square. Thus, on 24.10.2018, based on the authorizations from the rights and liberties judge from the Bucharest District 1 Court, the prosecutors conducted searches in the homes of seven persons, in order to find out the truth in this case," reads a release of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the District 1 Court.
In conducting the searches, the prosecutors benefited from the support of the General Directorate of the Bucharest Municipality Police - Violent Criminal Groups Service.
