Romania's President Klaus Iohannis will attend an Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on November 24, presidential spokesperson Madalina Dobrovolschi announced on Tuesday.
"It is a relevant moment in shaping up the prospects for the development of relations between the EU and the countries in the Eastern Neighborhood in a complex international context. This summit will also seek to confirm the progress of the actions that were set at the previous summit held in Riga in 2015," Dobrovolschi told a news conference on Tuesday at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
She added that a new legal framework for cooperation between Armenia and the EU will be signed in Brussels.
Dobrovolschi mentioned that the Eastern Partnership includes four platforms, namely democracy, good governance and stability, economic integration and convergence of community policies, energy security, contacts between people. AGERPRES .
