Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced on Wednesday that the administration reform package has entered the government approval circuit and is expected to be adopted next week, adding that, upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Justice, the adoption will be carried out through the government's pledging responsibility.

"In parallel with the preparation of the budget, work is underway on the administration reform package - a package unfortunately delayed - but we are now in a situation where this project has entered the government approval circuit. It is expected to be adopted next week, following consultations between the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Justice. The recommendation of the Ministry of Justice is for the government to assume responsibility for adopting this package," Bolojan told a press conference at the Victoria Palace.

The head of the Executive stated that the adoption of the package will lead to a more efficient state and, "above all, will change the paradigm in public administration, creating the conditions for an administration truly at the service of the citizen and improving the quality of services provided by local authorities."

The prime minister added that the package will be complemented by the bill prohibiting the simultaneous collection of pension and salary, which is also expected to be adopted at next week's government meeting.
