Prime Minister Viorica Dancila conveyed on a message posted on Tweeter that she was saddened by the news of the armed attack in Strasbourg, adding that her thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
"I was profoundly saddened by the terrible news from Strasbourg. I firmly condemn this attack on some innocent people, who just wanted to visit the Christmas fair. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families," reads the PM's message.
Four people were killed and eleven people got injured, out of whom seven people were reported to be in serious medical condition following the attack that occurred on Tuesday evening in Strasbourg central square, about which the authorities believe it had a terrorist motivation.
