Prime minister Viorica Dancila on Monday at the Victoria Palace welcomed former French Prime minister Dominique de Villepin, the organisation of the Romania-France Season, a bilateral project of major importance for both countries, being among the topics approached, a release by the Romanian gov't says.
Dominique de Villepin who is currently carrying out activities in international consultancy, according to the Romanian gov't, is attending the seventh edition of the Bucharest Forum, organised by the Aspen Romania Institute 8 to 10 October.
"The Romania-France Season is a project comprising actions in both the cultural and economic field. The Romanian-French economic and commercial ties have also been on the talks' agenda," the release adds.
Topics of interest on the European agenda and in particular the preparation of Romania's Presidency of the Council of the European Union were also discussed.
