The Senate and the Chamber of Deputies met on Monday in a solemn sitting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution in force, agerpres reports.
The meeting is chaired by the presidents of the two legislative forums, Florin Citu and Marcel Ciolacu.
Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca and the President of the Constitutional Court, Valer Dorneanu, are also participating.
The session kicked off with the performance of the national anthem.
The presidents of the two chambers, as well as the representatives of the parliamentary groups, will hold speeches.
