The Senate and Chamber of Deputies leaders decided on Friday to call an extraordinary session of Parliament on Monday, for the investiture vote on the new government.
The plenary session is scheduled to start at 15:00 hrs, while hearings of the minister nominees in Parliament expert committees will start at 8:00 hrs.
"The joint Standing Bureaus approved Monday's agenda. (...) Hearings of the ministers in the expert committees are set in the first part of the day, starting at 8:00 hrs, and the plenary sitting is scheduled for 15:00, for the prime minister to present the program and the list of the government members, followed by the debate in plenum and the final vote of investiture. We distributed to our colleagues in the Standing Bureau the program and list of the Cabinet members," Senator Calin Popescu-Tariceanu said after the meeting of the Standing Bureau, who also mentioned that a longer time has been assigned to hearings than in the case of the previous lineups that sought to be vested in office.
