"The Alba County Council, as an evaluator and verifier of the eligibility of the files of the final beneficiaries - vulnerable people, within the I7 Investment, Component 16 - REPowerEU, which aims at the energy renovation of single-family residential buildings, combined with the installation of solar panels, with an emphasis on energy-poor households and vulnerable consumers, issued 877 favorable opinions," reads a press release sent on Friday to AGERPRES.
The applicants for these opinions are seven companies.

Based on the 859 projects selected for implementation, the total value of financing attracted at the Alba County level through this measure amounts to approximately 17,351,800 euros, respectively 86,353,552 lei.
Each project selected for implementation benefits from a non-refundable financing of 20,200 euros, granted in the form of a package of six fixed-amount vouchers, intended for eligible activities carried out at a single-family residential building.
The financial support covers both the energy renovation works and the mandatory technical stages to ensure the quality of the interventions.
The projects selected for implementation target beneficiaries from eight cities and 36 communes in Alba County.
Investment I7 from Component 16 REPowerEU aims to increase the access of the vulnerable population to energy efficiency solutions, reduce energy costs and support the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
