The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) expresses its confidence in continuing diplomatic efforts so as to achieve "real progress and the final, comprehensive and lasting settlement of the Iranian nuclear file," reads a MAE press release for AGERPRES.
"As to the decision of the United States to withdraw from the nuclear agreement with Iran, amid a negative appreciation by the US Administration of the policies promoted by Iran and the lack of real guarantees regarding its regional policy and the development of its ballistic program, MAE expresses confidence in continuing diplomatic efforts so as to achieve real progress and the final, comprehensive and lasting settlement of the Iranian nuclear file," the release reads.
At the same time, MAE informs that Romania will continue to cooperate with the representatives of the entire international community and with the United States with regard to the management of the nuclear files.
"Romania will continue to cooperate with the representatives of the entire international community and the United States, its most important strategic partner, to identify the best ways to improve security at regional and international level and to manage nuclear files in accordance with the Treaty on Nuclear Non-Proliferation, with full observance of the UN Security Council resolutions and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors," the release also reads.
