Romanian tennis player Marius Copil continues to be among the world's top 100 male professional players, number 93, after the best year in his career.
The best ranked Romanian tennis player in 2017 is, as usual, Olympic vice-champion Horia Tecau, who finished the year world No. 8, with 5,070 points in the men's doubles event rankings, keeping his team mate, Dutch Jean-Julien Rojer, both having added this year another US Open, Grand Slam title.
