President Klaus Iohannis declared on Tuesday that Romania is effectively fighting against corruption and that this fight has shown results.
"I do not want to give advice to others on how to solve the corruption problem, but I can say that in Romania, the fight against corruption is an ongoing battle. (...) I am a strong believer of the fight against corruption. Romania is on a difficult and fair path. We are effectively, with results too, fighting against this scourge," Iohannis said, at the joint conference with Slovakian Prime Minister, Peter Pellegrini.
President Iohannis was asked if he discussed with the Slovakian Prime Minister about the fight against corruption.
