Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor said Monday that the draft green certificate will be discussed at the coalition meeting, noting that he does not agree to unlimited free tests, but only for 28 days because it means billions of lei that the state should pay, and vaccination "goes down."
He said there were two drafts on the health green certificate, noting that he had agreed that the bill from the Senate could not be amended and that a new one was needed, agerpres reports.
Kelemen Hunor agrees that this certificate should be introduced at a certain incidence of cases and should no longer be required if the number of cases decreases.
The UDMR leader said that this bill will be analyzed on Monday in the coalition meeting.
"If we manage to find a formula agreed by everyone, it can go through both Chambers in ten days and will come into force on January 1, with the provision that if the incidence reaches over 1.5 per thousand, it is mandatory in certain situations, in institutions where you must present the certificate," Kelemen Hunor said.
