The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate accounted for 3.9 per cent in November 2018, down by 0.1 percentage points against the figure recorded in the previous month (4 per cent), according to data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The unemployment rate in men was by 1.3 percentage points higher than the one in women.
The number of unemployed (range: 15-74 years) estimated for November 2018 accounted for 358,000 persons, down from the previous month (370,000 persons) and also from the same month the previous year (427,000 persons).
By gender, the unemployment rate in men exceeded by 1.3 percentage points the unemployment rate in women (the values being of 4.4 per cent for men and 3.1 for women).
For the adults (range: 25-74 years), the unemployment rate was estimated at 3 per cent for November 2018 (3.6 per cent in the case of men and 2.2 per cent for women).
The number of unemployed aged 25-74 represents 71.3 per cent of the total number of unemployed estimated for November 2018.
