Industrial production increased both as unadjusted series (+7.5%), as well as working-day and seasonal adjusted series (+8.2%), in the January 1 - November 30, 2021 period, compared to the similar period of 2020, the National Institute for Statistics (INS) announced on Wednesday, Agerpres reports.
Thus, in the January 1 - November 30, 2021 period, compared to the January 1 - November 30, 2020 period, industrial production (unadjusted series) increased by 7.5%, due to increases recorded in the production and supply of electrical energy, thermal energy, gas, hot water and air conditioning (+11.6%) and the manufacturing industry (+7.5%). The extraction industry recorded decreases of 2.2%.
Industrial production, as working-day and seasonal adjusted series, in the first 11 months of 2021, compared to the similar period of 2020, was by 8.2% greater, as a consequence of increases recorded in the production and supply of electrical energy, thermal energy, gas, hot water and air conditioning (+11.9%) and the manufacturing industry (+7.5%). The extraction industry recorded decreases of 2.6%.
