General Inspector of the Romanian Police, Police Principal Quaestor Bogdan Despescu received this week the official visit of the Chief Commissioner of the Hungarian National Police, Karoly Papp, assigned to award the Romanian head of Police the Order of Saint George, the highest distinction granted to a police officer by the Minister of Interior in Hungary.
According to the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR), the officials tackled such topics as illegal migration, traffic safety and combating organised crime, especially cyber crime and human trafficking.
The head of the Romanian Police underscored the fact that the exchange of information between the two institutions has proved, in time, extremely efficient in fighting organised crime.
In his turn, the chief captain of the Hungarian Police, Lieutenant General Karoly Papp expressed the wish for the partnership with the Romanian Police to continue at the same high level as before, IGPR mentions.AGERPRES .
