Greece supports Romania's accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Greek ambassador in Bucharest, Evangelia Grammatika declared on Wednesday.
"We support Romania in its accession process to the OECD, which is nearing its end in the coming months, as well as in its efforts to resolve the budget deficit. I am confident that we will advance our cooperation based on the consultations and high-level meetings of last year and will evolve in terms of bilateral exchanges and visits," said the Greek diplomat.
At the same time, she also referred to the acceleration of the modernization process of the railway and transport infrastructure between Greece, Bulgaria and Romania, including regarding military mobility in the Black Sea - Aegean Sea corridor.
"These projects will lead to development, resilience and security in the region, ensuring a supply chain we can rely on," Evangelia Grammatika also mentioned.
The Greek ambassador participated on Wednesday in the anniversary concert of Greece Day at the Romanian Athenaeum.
