Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Thursday convened at the Victoria Palace, 10.00 am, a bad weather task force, after heavy rainfalls affected several counties and the Capital.
The information was confirmed by the Government's spokesmen Nelu Barbu. The bad weather task force is set to analyze the effects of the strong precipitations, with all factors involved.
Dobrogea, the largest part of Muntenia, the south-east Transylvania, south-west Moldova and the Eastern Carpathians areas are on Thursday subject to a code yellow alert for rainfalls.
The warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration targets 17 counties, Suceava, Harghita, Neamt, Bacau, Covasna, Brasov, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Buzau, Vrancea, Braila, Ialomita, Calarasi, Giurgiu, Tulcea, Constanta and the Bucharest Municipality.
The code yellow alert was issued on Thursday, for the 3.00 am - 11.00 pm interval.
