A five-judge panel from the Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the appeal in cassation filed by Liviu Dragnea, by which the former leader of the PSD (Social Democratic Party) asked for the cancellation of his sentence of 3 years and 6 months detention in the file of the fictitious hirings.
The decision of the court is final.
