Fog, reduced visibility, sleet to grip ten counties in following hours

Meteorologists on Monday issued new code yellow nowcasting warnings for fog and ground ice valid for the following hours in ten counties in Romania.

According to the National Weather Administration (ANM), there will be fog , low visibility, locally below 200 metres, isolated below 50 metres, which will lead to the formation of ground ice, throughout 11:00hrs, in Olt and Dolj counties, and throughput noon, in areas of the counties of Bacau, Botosani, Suceava, Galati, Neamt, Vrancea, Iasi and Vaslui counties.

Warnings of immediate dangerous phenomena (nowcasting) are issued for a maximum period of six hours, according to ANM.
