Minister of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Irineu Darau and French Ambassador to Romania Nicolas Warnery discussed the Security Action for Europe (SAFE) initiative within a meeting, analysing opportunities to strengthen European industrial capacities through projects capable of generating added value at local level.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEDAT), the strategic discussion focused on strengthening economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
"In a challenging global context, the relationship with France remains a fundamental pillar for the development of high added value sectors and for Romania's economic security," the Facebook post stated.
According to the quoted source, Romania's accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) remains a strategic objective, representing a decisive step towards integration into global economic chains.
