Deputy Iulian Bulai: I fully support Dominic Fritz for position of USR chairman

Deputy Iulian Bulai declared, on Saturday, for AGERPRES, that he supports Dominic Fritz "with all his strength" for the position of chairman of USR.

"He is a determined person, he was confirmed as mayor of Timisoara, a municipality with great challenges for which he has solutions. (...) He had a vision for the interim period in which he was and made good decisions for the USR and for the country, which make it so that today we have an absolutely extraordinary president - Nicuşor Dan. He demonstrated loyalty for Romania and for the USR, vision and clear solutions for the governing program, before we discuss individuals. These are extraordinary qualities," Iulian Bulai specified for AGERPRES.

The German MP added that he will make available to the party all the experience he has accumulated so far. "I am ready to go further and make available to the country and the USR all the resources, contacts and experience, both as president of the county branch, and especially the parliamentary and international experience, where I have invested a lot, simultaneously with the local activity," said MP Iulian Bulai.

Nine candidacies were validated for the position of USR president, with the first round of voting scheduled online between June 11 and 13.

The USR Congress, where the new party president will be validated, will take place on June 21.
