Former chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Crin Antonescu announced that he submitted the documents in order to enter the PNL list for the elections to the European Parliament (EP) due next year.
"I have submitted today the documents the EP candidacy. On the normal circuit, established by PNL's decisions for any other member," Antonescu told AGERPRES on Tuesday.
The Liberals can submit their candidacies for the European Parliament elections until October 1.
