Code Yellow for atmospheric instability in 15 counties, on Tuesday

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a Code Yellow advisory for atmospheric instability affecting 15 counties, valid on Tuesday.

According to meteorologists, until 11:00 PM, Maramures, most of Transylvania, northwest Moldavia, and some mountain areas will experience periods of heavy rain showers, lightning, wind gusts of 50-70 km/h, and isolated hail.

Moreover, in short intervals or through accumulation, rainfall amounts will reach 15-20 liters per square meter, with isolated areas recording over 30-35 liters per square meter.

The counties targeted by the Yellow Code warning are: Satu Mare, Salaj, Maramures, Bistrita-Nasaud, Cluj, Suceava, Mures, Neamt, Harghita, Bacau, Vrancea, Buzau, Prahova, Brasov and Covasna.

On the other hand, in Bucharest on Tuesday, the weather will be warm with variable skies and light to moderate wind. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees Celsius.
