Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Thursday's session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session down, with total turnover reaching 171.357 million RON (33.629 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 2.06%, to 28,413.18 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, closed with a decrease of 2.07%, agerpres reports.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, "lost" 2.22%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded a decline of 1.33%.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index, of the 25 most liquid stocks, closed down 2.20%, while BET-FI, the SIF index, closed down 4.83%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 2.02%.

The most liquid securities were the shares of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 37.886 million RON, followed by those of Fondul Proprietatea, with 18.653 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 17.277 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Energopetrol (+14.16%), Romcab (+13.16%) and Electroaparataj (+9.93%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by the titles Simtel Team (-14.92%), Prefab (-9.15%) and SOCEP (-8.68%).
