The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday lower on all indices, with total trading of 126.52 million lei (24.82 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 1.14%, to 26,310.95 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 1.10%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 1.12%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 1.47%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 1.12%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed down 0.51%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.55%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 25.53 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 23.15 million lei, and Romgaz - 9.81 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Casa de Bucovina - Club de Munte (+9.87%), Compania Energopetrol (+9.38) and Electroaparataj (+6.67%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-12.96%), Promateris (-7.14%) and COMCM SA Constanta (-5.23%).
