Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Tuesday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session higher on most indices, with total trading exceeding 134.5 million lei (26.4 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.48%, to 27,453.65 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with a similar increase.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, "gained" 1.42%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 1.09%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, appreciated by 1.39%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, the only one to decline, closed with a depreciation of 0.04%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decline of 0.09%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of almost 27.2 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 17.9 million lei and Romgaz shares - 11.1 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by COMCM shares (+7.29%), Casa de Bucovina Club de Munte (+7.14%) and BVB (+4.77%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by Carbochim shares (-8.05%), Chimcomplex (-1.44%) and Evergent Investments (-1.29%).
