Another 283 Romanian citizens returned safely to Romania on Tuesday night on three Tarom flights - two from Tel Aviv, Israel, and one from Amman, Jordan - as well as on a flight operated by a private company, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) reports.
A mobile consular team from the Romanian Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Romanian Representative Office in Ramallah along with a team from the Rapid Reaction Unit of the MAE task force continues to stay at the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to provide consular assistance to Romanian nationals at the airport.
Romanian citizens in Israel can contact the Embassy of Romania in Tel Aviv and announce their presence in the region, communicating their identification data and their coordinates to the e-mail address telaviv@mae.ro and to the telephone line of the Romanian Embassy in Tel Aviv: +972 54 5643279, as well as that of the Consulate General in Haifa: +972 543 998 038, to be contacted.
