The number of real estate transactions, nationwide, dropped by 17 percent during the month of July 2018, as opposed to the similar period of 2017, to 44,430, according to the data of the National Cadastre and Property Advertising Agency (ANCPI), sent on Tuesday, to AGERPRES.
The most real estate sales that were recorded during the month of July 2018 were in Bucharest - 6,815, Ilfov County - 3,285 and Timis County - 2,712. The counties with the least real estate sales in the same period of time were Gorj - 284, Caras-Severin - 192 and Olt - 102.
"The number of houses, plots of land and apartments that made the object of buying-selling contracts, at a national level, during the seventh month of this year is 9,068 smaller than July 2017," according to the ANCPI press release.
Also, the number of mortgages, at a national level, during July 2018, was 26,781, up 4,253 from July 2017. The most operations of this type were recorded last month in Bucharest - 5,199, Ilfov County - 3,844 and Cluj County - 1,981. At the opposite level there is Olt County - 104, Harghita County- 87 and Caras Severin County - 86.
The counties were the most agricultural lands were sold during the seventh month of the year are Arad - 691, Timis - 647 and Dolj - 524, and the least are Olt - 23, Gorj - 50 and Maramures - 55.
Last year, real estate sales reached 627,802 units, most of which being recorded in Bucharest - 82,477, Cluj County - 43,774 and Ilfov County - 41,687.
