As many as 1,668 cases of people newly infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in the last 24 hours and 38 casualties were reported, including one prior, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Friday.
"According to the existing data at the level of the National Intervention Management and Coordination Centre (CNCCI), on December 31, 2021, at 10:00, during the 24 hour interval there were 1,668 cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2. Furthermore, 38 casualties were reported, including one prior", GCS specified.
