Atmospheric instability will increase on Thursday and there will be showers that will also be torrential in Maramures, Crisana, Banat, most of Transylvania and in the mountain area, according to a Code Yellow warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration.
In 21 counties in these regions, water quantities will be 15...20 l/sq m in short intervals of time, electrical discharges, hail, wind intensification and storms will be reported, generally with speeds of 50...70 km/h. In the high mountain area, gusts will exceed 80...90 km/h.
The wind will gradually intensify in Dobrogea, northeastern Wallachia and southern Moldova, with speeds of 50...60 km/h.
The weather will cool sharply across the country and there will be moderate precipitation until Saturday noon.
