Minister of European Funds Rovana Plumb was appointed interim Minister of National Education, through a decree signed by President Klaus Iohannis.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES by the Presidential Administration, Klaus Iohannis signed on Tuesday the decree finding the vacation of the government member position through the resignation of Valentin Popa, the Minister of National Education.
Furthermore, the head of state signed on Tuesday the decree for the appointment of Minister of European Funds Rovana Plumb as interim Minister of National Education, reads the press release.
Valentin Popa resigned on Thursday from the position of Minister of Education.
