A total of 31 deaths - 19 men and 12 women - in patients infected with the new coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Friday, Agerpres reports.
According to the GCS, 28 of the deaths were from comorbidities, and three deceased patients did not have comorbidities.
Out of a total of 31 patients who died, 27 were unvaccinated and four were vaccinated. The four vaccinated deceased patients ranged in age from 40 to 49 and over 80 years. Three of the vaccinated patients who died had comorbidities, and no comorbidities were reported for one patient.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 58,971 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died in Romania.
