Germany is a specially important strategic partner of Romania, Deputy PM Ana Birchall said in a message on the occasion of the German Unity Day.
"Germany is a partner of Romania inside the EU, a foremost ally within NATO and a specially important strategic partner, and Romania's Government grants the proper attention to deepening the relations with Germany," Ana Birchall said, according to a release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.
Ana Birchall participated on Tuesday in the reception offered by Germany's Embassy, on German Unity Day, underscoring the importance of the date marking the political, legislative, territorial and administrative reunification of Germany and sending the German citizens "the warmest wishes from Romania and the Romanian authorities."
