Flights operated by Animawings airline to Hurghada (Egypt), scheduled for Wednesday, remain valid, the National Company of Bucharest Airports (CNAB) announced.
Flight AWG4406 departed Wednesday morning at 09:00 from Bucharest "Henri Coanda" International Airport, while flight AWG4407 is scheduled to land at 16:05.
According to the CNAB, 27 flights to or from Israel, Dubai, Qatar, Lebanon and Cyprus are cancelled on Wednesday due to events in the Middle East.
This includes 13 departures and 14 arrivals operated by El Al-Israel Airlines, Fly One Romania, FlyDubai, Hisky Europe, Qatar Airways, Ryanair, TAROM and Wizz Air Malta.
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (MTI) has advised Romanian citizens with planned trips to Israel or neighbouring states directly affected by the conflict to cancel or reschedule their travel for a later date.
On Saturday morning, Israel and the US launched attacks against Iran, with explosions reported in Tehran and other cities such as Tabriz (north-west) and Isfahan (central). Iran responded by launching missiles and drones against US military bases in Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as military centres on Israeli territory, according to EFE.
