The head of the Department for Emergency Situations, Raed Arafat, stated, on Friday, at the end of a session of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, that starting Saturday the quarantine periods are to be reduced, Agerpres reports.
Thus, the quarantine period will be 5 days for persons who are vaccinated, or have had the disease and recovered in the past 180 days. For the rest of persons, the quarantine is reduced from 14 to 10 days.
The same rules will be also valid for direct contacts of persons confirmed with SARS-CoV-2.
